Privacy notice
We collect very little, and only to tell you when PRISM 01 is available. This notice explains what we hold, why, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
This website is run by Sahil Singh, trading as PORTAMENTO ("we", "us"). For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Sahil Singh is the data fiduciary responsible for your personal data. You can reach us at privacy@portamento.studio.
What we collect
When you join the list, we collect your email address and the date you joined. On some pages we also ask for your city, and afterwards, if you choose to answer, whether PRISM 01 would be for you or a gift. We note which page or advertisement brought you to the form, so we know which ones are worth running. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address or payment details, and we do not collect any information about you from other sources.
Why we collect it
We use your email address for one purpose: to tell you when PRISM 01 is available to order. We will not use it for anything else, and we will not send you other marketing without asking you first. Your city and your answer to the gift question help us plan delivery and decide how many to make; we look at them in total, not person by person.
Your consent
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, which you give when you enter it and choose to join the list. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by writing to us. Once you withdraw consent, we stop using your email address and delete it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data or share it with anyone for their own marketing. Your details are stored by our database provider (Supabase) and our email service provider, who process them only on our instructions and only to provide those services to us. They are kept in a secured database that the website itself can add to but cannot read back.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until PRISM 01 is released and we have written to you, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. If you then choose to stay in touch, we will ask for your consent again.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or completed, and to have it erased. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to privacy@portamento.studio and we will respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please write to us first at privacy@portamento.studio. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies and analytics
This site stores a small preference in your own browser to remember that you have joined the list. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where required.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use the email addresses we already hold, we will tell you before it takes effect.
